The SGS 43474 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for aggressive material removal in demanding machining applications. Part of the Series 33MC, it features a 6 mm cutting diameter, an 18 mm length of cut, and a 1.50 mm (0.0591 inch) corner radius. The AlTiN coating, designated Ti-NAMITE-A by SGS, provides heat and wear resistance for high-speed cutting in difficult workpiece materials. With three flutes, a variable helix, and a variable index geometry, the tool is engineered for roughing operations where chatter control and chip evacuation are critical. The overall length is 57 mm and the shank diameter is 6 mm. End mill holders are the recommended toolholding system.

This end mill is suited for roughing operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The long-length configuration and coarse pitch flute geometry support heavy chip loads in setups where standard-length tools lack the reach. Do not use in applications requiring centercutting entry, as this tool is not centercutting.
