The SGS 39167 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-precision milling operations across a broad range of workpiece materials. Built from micrograin carbide and finished with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, this 4-flute tool delivers consistent cutting performance in demanding shop environments. The 5/8 inch cutting diameter pairs with a 1-1/4 inch length of cut and a 3-1/2 inch overall length. The 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation, while the variable index geometry reduces harmonic vibration during cutting. Centercutting capability allows direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers in job shop and production environments.

This end mill is suited for milling operations on a wide range of materials including cast iron, non-ferrous metals, stainless steel, heat-resistant superalloys, titanium, and steel.
