Product Description

The SGS 39025 is a single-end, square-profile solid carbide end mill designed for precision milling in a wide range of metalworking applications. It features a 13/64 inch (0.2031 inch) cutting diameter and a 5/8 inch length of cut, with a 30-degree right-hand spiral helix that promotes efficient chip evacuation and stable cutting performance. The tool is coated with TiCN (Titanium Carbonitride), which increases surface hardness and wear resistance compared to uncoated carbide. The micrograin carbide substrate provides edge toughness at small diameters. A variable index flute geometry helps reduce chatter. Licensed machinists and CNC operators install this tool in milling machines and machining centers for finishing and semi-finishing passes.

This end mill is well suited for milling operations on a broad range of workpiece materials, including hardened steels, cast irons, stainless steels, non-ferrous metals, non-metallic materials, and high-temperature alloys, as indicated by its material code ratings (H, K, M, N, P, S). The 1/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank fits standard collet chucks and end mill holders sized for 1/4 inch tooling. Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing tooling.
