The SGS 39023 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. It features a 3/16 inch (0.1875 inch) mill diameter, a 5/8 inch length of cut, and a 2 inch overall length. The four-flute, right-hand spiral configuration with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes. A TiCN coating improves wear resistance and extends tool life across a range of workpiece materials. Micrograin carbide construction provides rigidity and edge retention under demanding cutting conditions. This is a single-end, centercutting tool with a straight cylindrical shank.

This end mill is suited for slot milling, profiling, and peripheral milling on a variety of workpiece materials including cast iron, non-ferrous metals, stainless steel, carbon steel, heat-resistant alloys, and titanium, as indicated by primary workpiece material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S.
