The SGS 38295 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in machining applications. It features a 3/4 inch mill diameter, a 1-1/2 inch length of cut, and a 0.06 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentrations at the cutting edge and extends tool life. The 2-flute, single-end geometry with a medium helical flute profile suits roughing operations where chip evacuation and edge strength are the primary concerns. The Weldon flat shank seats securely in standard end mill holders. Intended for use by machinists and toolroom operators on CNC mills and manual milling machines.
This end mill is suited for roughing cuts on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and titanium, as well as hard materials in secondary applications. The uncoated micrograin carbide construction performs well in controlled cutting environments where re-sharpening or precise edge inspection is required. The short-length geometry provides rigidity when working in shallow-to-medium depth pockets and profiles. Compatible with standard end mill holders designed for 3/4 inch shank tooling with Weldon flat engagement.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Secure the Weldon flat shank fully into the end mill holder before tightening the set screw, ensuring the flat is properly aligned with the screw. Verify spindle speed and feed rate are within the machine tool and material requirements before engaging the cut. Inspect the cutting edges and corner radius for chips or wear before each use.
