The SGS 38019 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. It features a 1/4 inch diameter, a 0.015 inch corner radius, and 4 right-hand helical flutes with a 30-degree helix angle. The cutting length is 3/4 inch with an overall length of 2.5 inches and a 1/4 inch straight cylindrical shank. Manufactured from micrograin solid carbide with a bright uncoated finish, this tool is built for both roughing and finishing passes. A variable index geometry helps reduce chatter and improve surface finish in tight-tolerance operations.

This end mill is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. Installation Notes

Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and machine power locked out per shop safety procedures. Seat the 1/4 inch shank fully in the end mill holder and torque the set screw or collet to the holder manufacturer specification. Confirm runout with a dial indicator before cutting to protect both the tool and the workpiece. Do not use this end mill beyond its rated depth of cut or without adequate chip clearance.
