Product Description

The SGS 38013 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precise milling operations across a wide range of metallic workpiece materials. It features a 3/16 inch diameter, a 0.03 inch corner radius, and four helical flutes arranged in a right-hand cutting direction with a medium helix angle. The 5/8 inch length of cut and 2 inch overall length make it suited for long-reach slotting, profiling, and finishing passes. The bright, uncoated finish is appropriate for applications where coating interaction with the workpiece material must be avoided. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals install this end mill in standard end mill holders on CNC machining centers or manual mills.

This end mill is rated for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The micrograin carbide substrate provides the hardness and wear resistance needed for both roughing and finishing cuts in these demanding material categories.
