The SGS 37038 is a solid carbide roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. It features a 1/2 inch diameter, five variable-pitch flutes, and a 0.03 inch corner radius that helps reduce chipping and extend tool life during heavy roughing passes. A TiN coating adds surface hardness and lubricity, improving performance in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The single-end, right-hand cutting geometry with right-hand spiral flutes suits a wide range of CNC and manual milling setups.
