The SGS 37026 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations where edge chipping and workpiece corner damage must be minimized. The 0.03-inch corner radius distributes cutting loads away from the tool tip, extending tool life and improving surface finish on hardened and difficult-to-machine materials. This end mill features a 0.5-inch cutting diameter, 5-flute geometry, a 0.625-inch length of cut, and a TiN (Titanium Nitride) coating that increases surface hardness and reduces friction during cutting. The variable-pitch flute spacing helps dampen harmonic vibration, making this tool well suited for high-feed or high-speed milling applications. It is installed and operated by machinists and tooling professionals in production and job-shop environments.
The SGS 37026 belongs to the Series Z5CR product family and is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines requiring a right-hand cutting, right-hand spiral end mill. The 0.5-inch shank diameter fits standard ER collet chucks, end mill holders, and hydraulic toolholders of the same bore size. The regular-length configuration suits general-purpose side milling, slotting, and profiling tasks in ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
