The SGS 37009 is a solid carbide roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling applications. It features a 1/4 inch diameter with five variable-pitch flutes and a 0.015 inch corner radius, which reduces chatter and extends tool life during heavy cuts. The TiN coating improves surface hardness and heat resistance at the cutting edge. With a 3/8 inch length of cut and a 2-1/2 inch overall length, this tool is suited for short-reach finishing and roughing passes in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It is installed by machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments.

This end mill is intended for use in vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills where controlled roughing cuts are required. The single-end, right-hand cutting geometry and spiral flute design make it effective for side milling, slotting, and profile roughing.
