The SGS 36783 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining applications. Built on the ZD1C series platform, it features a 5/16 inch (0.3125 inch) mill diameter with a 0.0400 inch corner radius and a 13/32 inch (0.4063 inch) length of cut. The TX coating provides enhanced surface hardness and heat resistance, supporting both roughing and finishing operations in a single tool. With four flutes, variable helix, and variable index geometry, the 36783 delivers reduced chatter and improved chip evacuation. It is installed and operated by machinists and CNC tooling specialists working in precision manufacturing environments.

The SGS 36783 is suited for cutting cast iron, hard materials, and steel. Its extended reach design, with a 1.0100 inch reach length and 0.2970 inch neck diameter, makes it well-suited for accessing deeper features and pockets where standard-length tools cannot reach. The straight-cylindrical shank fits standard end mill toolholders. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard on this tool. It is not center-cutting and does not support coolant-through delivery.
