The SGS 35709 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in non-ferrous metal applications. It features a 1/2-inch mill diameter, a 0.0600-inch corner radius, and three helical flutes ground to a right-hand cutting direction. The tool is coated with Titanium Diboride (TiB2), also designated Ti-NAMITE-B, which reduces friction and extends tool life when cutting aluminum, copper, brass, and similar non-ferrous materials. With a 38-degree high helix angle and a coarse pitch, this end mill is optimized for aggressive roughing passes. A licensed machinist or toolroom technician typically selects this tool for production and job-shop environments.
The SGS 35709 is suited for roughing operations on non-ferrous metals in both manual and CNC milling setups.
