The SGS 35595 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision material removal in non-ferrous metal applications. It features a 3/8-inch mill diameter, a 1-1/2-inch length of cut, and a 0.06-inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life. With three right-hand helical flutes and a coarse pitch geometry, this end mill is configured for roughing operations. A straight cylindrical 3/8-inch shank makes it compatible with standard end mill holders. Installed by machinists and tooling professionals, it is suited for CNC mills and manual knee mills running non-ferrous stock.
The SGS 35595 is intended for use in non-ferrous metal cutting applications, including aluminum, brass, copper, and similar materials. Its long-length configuration, with a 4-inch overall length, provides reach for deeper pockets and stepped features. The single-end, high-helix design promotes chip evacuation during extended cuts. This tool is appropriate for production and job-shop environments where consistent corner geometry and surface finish in non-ferrous materials are required.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer guidelines. Secure the shank fully in a clean, undamaged end mill holder and verify runout before cutting. Confirm spindle speed and feed rate are appropriate for the workpiece material and depth of cut before engaging the tool. Never exceed the rated length of cut when taking full-depth passes.
