The SGS 35475 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision material removal in machining applications. Built from micrograin carbide, it delivers consistent edge integrity and wear resistance in demanding cutting environments. The tool features a 3/32-inch (0.0938-inch) mill diameter, a 3/8-inch length of cut, and a 30-degree helix angle. With 4 flutes and a right-hand cutting and flute direction, it is suited for finishing and semi-finishing passes where tight tolerances and surface finish quality are priorities. Installation and use are handled by machinists and CNC operators working in job shop or production environments.
This end mill is intended for use on non-ferrous metals, making it appropriate for aluminum, brass, copper, and similar materials. Its centercutting capability allows plunge entry, expanding its versatility in pocketing and slotting operations. The bright, uncoated finish keeps the tool in its as-ground state, which is common in applications where coating interaction with the workpiece material is undesirable. The 1/8-inch straight-cylindrical shank fits standard collet and end mill holders used on vertical machining centers and CNC routers.
Designed for use in standard collet-style and end mill holder tooling systems accepting a 1/8-inch straight-cylindrical shank. Primary workpiece material designation is non-ferrous metal (code N), consistent with aluminum, brass, and copper alloy applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator familiar with tool holding and runout verification procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or holder to the recommended engagement depth before tightening. Verify runout at setup and confirm feeds, speeds, and depth of cut are appropriate for the workpiece material before beginning the cut.
