The SGS 35275 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling of non-ferrous metals and similar materials. With a 0.0938 inch (3/32 inch) mill diameter and a 3/8 inch length of cut, this tool is built for tight-tolerance slot milling, profiling, and contouring in small-feature applications. The 2-flute, spiral-flute geometry with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The straight cylindrical shank measures 1/8 inch in diameter, and the overall length is 1.5 inches. This is a right-hand cut, right-hand flute, centercutting end mill suitable for plunge and ramp entry. It is an uncoated, single-end tool in the SGS Series 52 lineup, used by machinists and tool-and-die professionals in CNC and manual milling operations.
This end mill is intended for use on non-ferrous metals, including aluminum, brass, copper, and similar materials designated by the N workpiece material code. Its compact diameter and regular-length geometry make it well suited for fine detail work, small pockets, and narrow slots in production and prototype machining environments. The centercutting design allows direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled hole, adding flexibility on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills alike.
