Product Description

The SGS 34943 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for finishing operations in non-ferrous metal applications. It features a 0.375-inch mill diameter, a 0.5-inch length of cut, and a 3-flute, right-hand spiral configuration with a 38-degree helix angle. The long-series geometry includes a 0.625-inch neck length and a 1.125-inch reach length, giving it extended reach capability for deeper cavity work. The micrograin carbide construction and uncoated finish make it well suited for high-speed finishing passes where edge sharpness and dimensional accuracy are priorities. Single-end design with a 0.375-inch shank diameter and 3.0-inch overall length.

This end mill is used in CNC milling operations targeting non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, brass, copper, and similar materials. The long-neck, extended-reach profile makes it practical for die and mold work, pocket finishing, and contoured surface machining where standard-length tools cannot reach. It is run as a single-end finishing tool and does not support coolant-through delivery. Compatibility

Installation Notes
