The SGS 34802 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-efficiency material removal in non-ferrous metals. Part of the SGS Series 43CR lineup, it features a 1/2 inch cutting diameter, a 1-1/4 inch length of cut, and a 0.06 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life. A TiB2 (Ti-NAMITE-B) coating improves hardness and lubricity, supporting faster feed rates in aluminum and other non-ferrous materials. The 3-flute, right-hand helical geometry with a coarse pitch is optimized for chip evacuation in roughing operations.
