The SGS 34738 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling of non-ferrous metals and similar materials. It features a 3/8-inch cutting diameter, a 1-1/2-inch length of cut, and a 3-1/2-inch overall length with a straight cylindrical 3/8-inch shank. The three-flute geometry and 38-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation and a smooth cutting action. A TiB2 (titanium diboride) finish improves surface hardness and reduces built-up edge on non-ferrous workpieces. This is a right-hand cut, right-hand spiral flute tool in SGS Series 43, suited for CNC machining centers and manual mills operated by machinists and tooling professionals.

This end mill is engineered primarily for non-ferrous metal applications including aluminum, brass, copper, and similar materials. The regular-length profile and cylindrical shank make it a standard choice for general-purpose profiling, slotting, and contouring operations. Installation Notes
