The SGS 33309 is a 2-flute, solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in a wide range of metallic and non-metallic workpiece materials. Built to Series 3L long-length geometry, it features a 7/16 inch (0.4375 inch) mill diameter, a 2 inch length of cut, and a 4-1/2 inch overall length. The 30-degree helix spiral flute design promotes efficient chip evacuation, while micrograin carbide construction delivers hardness and edge retention in demanding applications. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation are standard. This tool is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments.

The SGS 33309 is suited for milling operations on a broad range of workpiece materials, including cast iron, non-ferrous metals, stainless steel, heat-resistant alloys, steel, and titanium alloys, as indicated by material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S.
