Built to Series 1LB long-length standards, this single-end tool features a 0.125-inch diameter with a 0.75-inch length of cut and a 2.25-inch overall length. The micrograin carbide construction provides the rigidity and edge retention needed for consistent performance across a wide range of workpiece materials. The 4-flute geometry combined with a 30-degree right-hand helix supports efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The SGS 33142 is suited for milling operations across a broad spectrum of materials, including cast irons, non-ferrous metals, stainless steels, high-temperature alloys, and titanium alloys, corresponding to material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S. Installation is performed by machinists using a compatible collet or end mill holder rated for 0.125-inch shank diameter; verify shank seating depth and runout before operation. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the tool. Shank diameter tolerance is +0.00000 to -0.00032 inches, so collet condition and cleanliness directly affect concentricity and tool life.
