The SGS 32766 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in non-ferrous metals and similar materials. With a 1/2 inch mill diameter, a 1-1/4 inch length of cut, and a 0.12 inch corner radius, this tool delivers controlled material removal while reducing stress concentrations at part corners. The micrograin carbide construction provides the rigidity and edge retention needed for consistent performance in production environments. It features a 3-flute, right-hand spiral configuration with a high helix angle and a straight cylindrical shank, making it compatible with standard end mill toolholders. Installation and setup are handled by machinists and CNC operators in job shop and production machining environments.
The SGS 32766 is suited for milling non-ferrous workpiece materials including aluminum, brass, copper, and similar alloys. The coarse pitch, roughing-class geometry supports aggressive material removal rates while the corner radius profile produces a blended fillet rather than a sharp inside corner. This makes it well-suited for pocket milling, profiling, and contouring operations where corner geometry is a functional requirement. The single-end, centercutting design allows for plunge entry where the application requires it. It is part of the SGS S-Carb 43CR series.

Installation is performed by machinists or CNC setup technicians. Ensure the toolholder and spindle are clean and within specified runout tolerances before seating the shank. Follow machine tool manufacturer guidelines for tool projection length and clamping torque. Verify spindle direction is set to right-hand rotation before engaging the cut.
