The SGS 32757 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for material removal in non-ferrous metal applications. It features a 1/4 inch cutting diameter, a 0.01 inch corner radius, and three right-hand helical flutes configured for roughing operations. The extended reach design provides a reach length of 2.125 inches, making it suitable for deeper cavities and profiling passes. At 4 inches overall length with a 3/8 inch length of cut, this single-end mill fits standard end mill holders with a straight cylindrical 1/4 inch shank. Machining professionals and toolroom technicians working with aluminum, brass, copper, and similar non-ferrous materials will find this tool built for efficient stock removal.
This end mill is intended for use on CNC machining centers and manual mills handling non-ferrous metals. The coarse pitch and high helix style promote chip evacuation, which is critical when cutting softer, gummier materials that tend to load flutes. The short flute length combined with extended reach makes this a practical choice for profiling pockets or contours where tool clearance is needed but aggressive reach is not required. It is sold as a single-end, single-piece unit and is designed for use with standard end mill holders.
Designed for use with standard end mill holders. Optimized for non-ferrous metal workpiece materials including aluminum and similar alloys. Part of the SGS Series 43LC S-Carb line.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician familiar with rotating cutting tool safety. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully in the holder to the recommended minimum engagement depth per the holder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning cuts, and confirm correct spindle direction matches the right-hand cutting configuration of this tool.
