The SGS 32582 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding production environments. It features a 5/8-inch cutting diameter, a 1-5/8-inch length of cut, and a 0.06-inch corner radius that reduces stress concentrations at the cutting edge and extends tool life. The AlTiN coating - marketed under SGS's Ti-NAMITE-A designation - provides high heat resistance and hardness at elevated cutting temperatures, making this tool well suited for dry and semi-dry machining. With five flutes and a high helix angle of 45 degrees, it delivers both efficient material removal and a quality surface finish in a single setup. The Weldon flat shank provides positive drive in end mill holders.

This end mill is built for roughing and finishing operations in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium, as well as hard materials.
