The SGS 32475 is a solid carbide tapered ball end mill designed for precision milling in demanding applications. Built on the Series 24 platform, it features a 7-degree taper angle per side and a 0.5-inch length of cut, making it well-suited for profiling, contouring, and 3D machining of deep cavities and mold features. The 3-flute spiral geometry with a 28-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation while maintaining surface finish quality. An AlTiN coating extends tool life in high-temperature cutting environments. The 1/4-inch shank diameter and 3-inch overall length allow reach into tight or deep workpiece features where rigidity must be balanced against access.

This tapered ball end mill is used in CNC machining centers for mold and die work, aerospace component machining, and precision part production. The micrograin carbide substrate and AlTiN coating make it appropriate for cutting hardened steels, stainless, titanium alloys, cast iron, aluminum, and other non-ferrous and exotic materials.
