The SGS 31471 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations across a range of workpiece materials. Built to Series 14 stub-length specifications, it features a 9/32 inch (0.2813 inch) cutting diameter, a 1/2 inch length of cut, and a 5/16 inch straight-cylindrical shank. The four-flute, right-hand spiral configuration runs at a 30-degree helix angle and carries a TiN (titanium nitride) finish that supports extended tool life in production environments. Centercutting geometry allows for plunge entry as well as conventional peripheral milling.

This end mill is suited for machining operations on materials classified under ISO codes H, K, M, N, P, and S, covering hardened steels, cast irons, stainless steels, non-ferrous metals, plain carbon and alloy steels, and heat-resistant superalloys. Installation Notes
