The SGS 31442 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling of complex contours, radiused pockets, and 3D profiling operations. Built to Series 14B specifications, it features a 0.0313-inch (1/32-inch) ball diameter, a 0.0625-inch (1/16-inch) length of cut, and a 4-flute geometry with a 30-degree right-hand helix. The micrograin carbide substrate provides excellent hardness and wear resistance, making this a capable tool for high-accuracy finishing passes in demanding materials. A Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating reduces friction and extends cutting life. This is a stub-length, double-end tool, delivering two usable ends per unit.
