The SGS 31251 is a 4-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for high-precision milling in demanding machining environments. Built to Series 16 stub-length geometry, this end mill features a 1/16 inch cutting diameter, a 1/8 inch length of cut, and a 1-1/2 inch overall length. The AlTiN coating provides heat and oxidation resistance at elevated cutting speeds. Micrograin carbide construction delivers rigidity and edge retention in difficult-to-machine materials. The centercutting design supports plunge entry, and the 30-degree right-hand spiral flute geometry promotes chip evacuation and surface finish quality.
