The SGS 30830 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision material removal in machining operations. It features a 5/16 inch (0.3125 inch) diameter with a 13/16 inch (0.8125 inch) length of cut and a 2-1/2 inch overall length. The three-flute geometry combined with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. An AlTiN (Aluminum Titanium Nitride) coating improves heat resistance and tool life in demanding cutting conditions. The micrograin carbide substrate provides the hardness and edge retention required for consistent performance across a range of workpiece materials.

This end mill is suited for milling operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, nonferrous metals, high-temp alloys, and similar materials corresponding to material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S. It is a single-end, right-hand cut tool with a straight cylindrical shank, making it compatible with standard collet and end mill holders found in CNC machining centers and manual knee mills.
