The SGS 30445 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance material removal across a wide range of workpiece materials. This single-end mill features a 15/64 inch (0.2344 inch) cutting diameter, a 3/4 inch length of cut, and a 1/4 inch straight shank. The 2-flute spiral geometry runs at a 30-degree helix angle with right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation. The AlTiN coating, marketed under the Ti-NAMITE-A designation, provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in demanding applications. Manufactured from micrograin solid carbide, this tool delivers consistent edge integrity in precision milling operations. It is centercutting capable, allowing direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled hole.

This end mill is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, high-temperature alloys, aluminum and non-ferrous metals, and hardened materials.
