The SGS 30043 is a single-end ball end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide, it delivers the rigidity and edge retention needed for demanding cut profiles. The tool measures 0.2031 inches in diameter with a 0.625 inches length of cut and a 2.5 inches overall length. A 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation, while the AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life at elevated cutting speeds. The variable index geometry reduces chatter and improves surface finish. This end mill is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers working on production and prototype work.
The SGS 30043 is suited for milling operations requiring a ball-nose profile, including contour milling, slotting, and 3D surface work.
