The SGS 30018 is a 4-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance metal removal in precision machining applications. It features a 7/16 inch cutting diameter with a 1 inch length of cut and an overall length of 2-3/4 inches. The AlTiN coating provides heat and wear resistance suited for dry or semi-dry cutting at elevated speeds. The micrograin carbide substrate delivers hardness and edge retention. A variable index design reduces harmonic chatter during cuts, improving surface finish and tool life. Installation Notes
