The SGS 30015 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision metal removal in CNC machining and manual milling operations. It features a 25/64 inch (0.3906 inch) cutting diameter, a 1 inch length of cut, and a 7/16 inch straight-cylindrical shank. The four-flute geometry and 30-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation and surface finish quality. An AlTiN finish increases surface hardness and thermal resistance, extending tool life in demanding cutting conditions. Machining professionals and tool-and-die shops use this end mill for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling across a broad range of workpiece materials.

The SGS 30015 is suited for right-hand cutting and right-hand spiral flute applications in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The variable index geometry reduces harmonic vibration during high-speed passes. It is centercutting, allowing plunge entry directly into the workpiece. Typical applications include finish milling of steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum alloys, and high-temperature alloys. Installation Notes
