The SGS 07385 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit engineered for precision drilling in printed circuit boards and a wide range of industrial materials. It features a 7/64 inch (0.1094 inch decimal) cutting diameter with a 130-degree four-facet point that promotes accurate entry and reduces walking on hard substrates. The 1/8 inch shank diameter and 1-1/2 inch overall length make it compatible with standard drill chucks used in CNC and manual drilling operations. The regular spiral with a 30-degree helix angle and tapered web configuration supports efficient chip evacuation. This bit is sold individually and is intended for use by machinists, PCB fabricators, and precision manufacturing technicians.
The SGS 07385 is suited for drilling in circuit board substrates as well as a broad range of metals and engineered materials including aluminum, cast iron, copper alloy, stainless steel, titanium, cobalt alloy, nickel, plastics, and fiber-reinforced polymers. Its uncoated solid carbide construction makes it appropriate for applications where coating buildup or contamination is a concern. The right-hand cut and regular spiral geometry support consistent performance in both benchtop and CNC drilling setups across light manufacturing and electronics fabrication environments.
Designed for use with standard 1/8 inch shank drill chucks in CNC drilling machines, drill presses, and precision hand tools. Compatible material applications include aluminum, cast iron, cobalt alloy, copper alloy, fiber-reinforced polymers, nickel, plastics, stainless steel, and titanium as specified by the manufacturer.
This bit should be installed in a compatible 1/8 inch chuck and secured firmly before operation. Ensure the drilling machine is powered down and the spindle is fully stopped before changing bits. Use appropriate cutting speeds and feed rates for the specific workpiece material to avoid carbide fracture, as solid carbide bits are rigid but brittle under lateral stress. Eye protection and appropriate machine guarding should be in place during all drilling operations.
