The SGS 07371 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit designed for precision drilling in printed circuit board fabrication and related small-hole applications. It measures 2.4 mm (0.0945 inches) in diameter with a 1/8-inch shank (3.18 mm) and an overall length of 1.5 inches (38.10 mm). The 130-degree four-facet point geometry delivers accurate entry and reduced thrust, while the uncoated solid carbide construction maintains edge sharpness through demanding production cycles. The regular spiral flute with a 30-degree helix angle promotes consistent chip evacuation. This bit is suited for technicians and machinists working in electronics manufacturing, precision fabrication shops, and prototype assembly environments.
This drill bit is rated for use on a broad range of workpiece materials including aluminum, cast iron, cobalt alloy, copper alloy, fiber-reinforced polymers, nickel, plastics, stainless steel, and titanium. The heavy-duty grade construction makes it appropriate for both low-volume prototype work and higher-throughput production drilling where consistent hole diameter tolerance is required.
