The SGS 07370 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit designed for precision drilling in printed circuit board fabrication and similar tight-tolerance applications. It features a 3/32 inch (0.0938 inch decimal) cutting diameter with a 130-degree four-facet point angle that promotes accurate entry and reduces walking on hard substrates. The 1/8 inch shank diameter accommodates standard drill chucks and collets used in CNC drilling equipment. With a right-hand cut and regular spiral at a 30-degree helix angle, this bit evacuates chips efficiently while maintaining hole quality. It is sold individually and suited for use by machinists, electronics fabricators, and precision trade professionals.
This drill bit is built for drilling through a wide range of materials including aluminum, cast iron, copper alloy, stainless steel, titanium, nickel, cobalt alloy, plastics, and fiber-reinforced polymers. It is equally applicable in PCB drilling setups and general precision machining operations where a small-diameter solid carbide bit is required. The tapered web configuration adds rigidity at the tip, which is especially useful when drilling gummy or abrasive materials at high spindle speeds.
Designed for use in CNC drilling equipment, high-speed drill presses, and PCB drilling machines that accept a 1/8 inch shank. Compatible material applications include aluminum, cast iron, cobalt alloy, copper alloy, fiber-reinforced polymers, nickel, plastics, stainless steel, and titanium.
This bit is intended for installation by machinists or CNC equipment operators familiar with small-diameter carbide tooling. Ensure the spindle and workpiece are properly secured before operation. Carbide bits are brittle and susceptible to chipping if subjected to side loading or improper feed rates - do not use in handheld drills. Follow the equipment manufacturer's recommended spindle speed and feed rate for the workpiece material and bit diameter.
