The SGS 07364 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit designed for precision drilling in printed circuit boards and other tight-tolerance applications. With a 2.2 mm (0.0866 inch) diameter, a 130-degree four-facet point, and a 1/8-inch shank, this bit delivers clean entry and accurate hole placement in thin and layered materials. The uncoated solid carbide construction provides rigidity and edge retention in demanding drilling operations. A 30-degree helix angle combined with a regular spiral and tapered web configuration promotes efficient chip evacuation. This bit is suitable for use by electronics technicians, CNC operators, and precision machinists working in production or repair environments.
The SGS 07364 is suited for drilling aluminum, cast iron, copper alloy, stainless steel, titanium, cobalt alloy, nickel, plastics, and fiber-reinforced polymers. Its Series 105 heavy-duty grade designation makes it appropriate for both prototype work and higher-volume production runs where consistent hole geometry is required. The right-hand cutting direction and two-flute design keep operation straightforward on standard CNC drilling equipment and benchtop drill presses equipped with appropriate collet systems.
Designed for use with standard CNC drilling machines, benchtop drill presses, and high-speed spindle systems that accept a 1/8-inch shank. Compatible workpiece materials include aluminum, cast iron, cobalt alloy, copper alloy, fiber-reinforced polymers, nickel, plastics, stainless steel, and titanium.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or CNC operators familiar with carbide tooling. Ensure the spindle and collet are fully de-energized and stopped before inserting or removing the bit. Solid carbide bits are brittle and should not be used in setups with excessive runout or lateral load, as this can cause breakage. Confirm spindle speed and feed rate are appropriate for the workpiece material and bit diameter before beginning a drilling cycle.
