The SGS 07362 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit engineered for precision drilling in printed circuit board fabrication and small-diameter hole work. It features a 130-degree four-facet point that reduces walking and improves entry accuracy on hard or layered materials. The 2.15 mm (0.0846 inch) cutting diameter is carried on a 1/8 inch (3.18 mm) shank, giving it a reduced-shank profile suited for standard collet chucks. With a 30-degree helix angle and regular spiral flute geometry, it clears chips efficiently without deflecting in thin-wall or laminated substrates. This bit is installed by machinists, PCB fabricators, and precision drilling technicians working on electronic assemblies and composite materials.
This drill bit is designed for use in CNC drilling machines, drill presses, and precision hand-held equipment where consistent hole diameter and edge quality are critical. The uncoated solid carbide construction performs across a broad range of workpiece materials including aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, cobalt alloy, copper alloy, cast iron, nickel, plastics, and fiber-reinforced polymers. Installation is performed by machinists or PCB drilling technicians. Secure the 1/8 inch shank in a properly sized collet or chuck and verify runout before drilling. Power down the spindle completely before changing or inspecting bits. Do not exceed the recommended feed and speed parameters for the workpiece material, as solid carbide is brittle and susceptible to breakage under lateral load or excessive feed pressure.
