The SGS 07361 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit engineered for precision drilling in printed circuit boards and similar thin, dense substrates. It measures 2.1 mm (0.0827 inches) in diameter with a 1/8-inch (3.18 mm) shank diameter and an overall length of 1-1/2 inches (38.10 mm). The 130-degree four-facet point geometry reduces thrust and walking at entry, while the uncoated solid carbide construction delivers the hardness needed to maintain tight tolerances in abrasive materials. Flute length is 0.40 inches (10.16 mm). Diameter tolerance is held to -0.0003 to +0.0000 inches, making it suitable for applications where hole location and size accuracy are critical.
This bit is rated for use in a broad range of materials including aluminum, cast iron, copper alloy, cobalt alloy, stainless steel, titanium, nickel, plastics, and fiber-reinforced polymers. The regular spiral with a 30-degree helix angle and tapered web configuration promotes clean chip evacuation in both metallic and composite workpieces. It is well suited to CNC drilling operations, prototype board work, and precision machining environments where consistent hole quality across multiple passes is required. Sold individually.
Designed as an OEM-style circuit board drill bit for use in CNC drilling machines and precision drill presses accepting a 1/8-inch shank. Compatible with aluminum, cast iron, cobalt alloy, copper alloy, fiber-reinforced polymers, nickel, plastics, stainless steel, and titanium workpieces as specified by the manufacturer for Series 105 heavy-duty grade tooling.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or technicians familiar with CNC or precision drilling equipment. Ensure the spindle and chuck are powered down and fully stopped before changing bits. Secure the shank firmly in the collet or chuck to the equipment manufacturer-specified holding depth to prevent runout. Always operate within the spindle speed and feed rate ranges recommended for the workpiece material and bit diameter.
