The SGS 07359 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit designed for precision drilling in printed circuit boards and similar tight-tolerance applications. Built to wire gauge size 46 with a decimal diameter of 0.0810 inches, this bit features a 130-degree four-facet point geometry that reduces walking and produces clean entry holes. The 1/8-inch shank diameter and 1.5-inch overall length make it compatible with standard PCB drilling spindles and CNC drill presses. The uncoated solid carbide construction delivers the rigidity and edge retention required when drilling through fiberglass laminates, reinforced polymers, and non-ferrous metals at high spindle speeds. Installed by electronics manufacturers, PCB fabricators, and precision machine shops.
This drill bit is suited for use in printed circuit board fabrication, prototype board drilling, and precision component manufacturing environments. The regular spiral with a 30-degree helix angle and tapered web configuration supports efficient chip evacuation in shallow-depth drilling passes. It is rated for use in aluminum, cast iron, cobalt alloy, copper alloy, fiber-reinforced polymers, nickel, plastics, stainless steel, and titanium workpieces, making it a versatile tool across light manufacturing and electronics production workflows.
Designed for use with CNC drill presses and PCB drilling machines accepting a 1/8-inch shank. Rated for aluminum, cast iron, cobalt alloy, copper alloy, fiber-reinforced polymers, nickel, plastics, stainless steel, and titanium workpieces.
This bit is installed by PCB fabricators, machinists, and precision drilling technicians using CNC or manual drill press equipment. Secure the 1/8-inch shank firmly in a compatible collet or drill chuck before operation. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping before each use, as solid carbide is brittle and susceptible to damage from side loading or improper chuck seating. Follow machine manufacturer spindle speed and feed rate guidelines for the workpiece material being drilled.
