The SGS 07354 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit engineered for precision drilling in printed circuit board fabrication and related electronic assembly work. The bit measures 1.95 mm (0.0768 inches) in diameter with a 130-degree four-facet point and a 1.5-inch overall length. The uncoated solid carbide construction delivers the rigidity and edge retention required when drilling through fiber-reinforced polymers, laminates, and other hard-to-machine substrates. It runs right-hand cut with a regular spiral, a 30-degree helix angle, and a tapered web configuration. Machinists, CNC operators, and electronics manufacturing technicians are the primary users.
This bit fits applications where tight-tolerance hole placement is critical, including PCB drilling, prototype board work, and precision hole generation in thin composite or metallic stock. The 1.95 mm diameter corresponds to a 0.0768-inch decimal equivalent, making it useful for through-hole component sizing in both production and repair environments. The Series 105 heavy-duty grade is suited for demanding cycles in aluminum, copper alloy, stainless steel, titanium, cobalt alloy, cast iron, plastics, and fiber-reinforced polymers.
Designed for use with standard 1/8-inch collet systems and CNC spindle toolholders common to PCB drilling machines and precision benchtop drill presses. Compatible workpiece materials include aluminum, cast iron, cobalt alloy, copper alloy, fiber-reinforced polymers, nickel, plastics, stainless steel, and titanium.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician using a compatible 1/8-inch collet or drill chuck. Confirm spindle runout is within acceptable tolerance before seating the bit, as carbide is brittle and sensitive to side loading. Power down and lock out the machine before changing tooling. Do not use this bit as a reamer or apply lateral force during drilling.
