The SGS 07341 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit designed for precision drilling in printed circuit board fabrication and electronics assembly work. Built to Series 105 standards, it features a 1/16 inch (0.0625 inch) cutting diameter with a 130-degree four-facet point that promotes accurate entry and reduces walking on hard substrates. The 1/8 inch shank diameter, 3/8 inch flute length, and 1-1/2 inch overall length make this a compact, purpose-built tool for controlled, high-precision drilling operations. The uncoated solid carbide construction delivers consistent performance in demanding materials without added coating thickness that could affect tolerance in tight-tolerance holes.
This bit is suited for use in electronics manufacturing, PCB prototyping, and precision machining environments where tight hole tolerances are critical. The right-hand cut, regular spiral with a 30-degree helix angle and tapered web configuration handles a broad range of workpiece materials including aluminum, cast iron, cobalt alloy, copper alloy, fiber-reinforced polymers, nickel, plastics, stainless steel, and titanium. It is appropriate for both production and repair applications where repeatability and dimensional accuracy are required. Machinists, PCB fabricators, and precision tooling technicians are the primary users.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard production tooling for circuit board drilling applications requiring a 1/16 inch solid carbide bit with a 1/8 inch shank. Compatible workpiece material codes K, M, N, P, and S cover alloy steels, titanium, non-ferrous metals, and composites as defined in the supplier specifications.
Installation and use of this bit should be performed by qualified machinists or PCB fabrication technicians familiar with CNC or manual drilling equipment. Ensure the spindle and collet or chuck are fully powered down and locked out before inserting or removing the bit. Verify runout on the spindle and collet before use, as even minor runout can affect hole quality at this diameter. Do not exceed the drill press or CNC spindle manufacturer-recommended feed and speed parameters for solid carbide tooling at this diameter.
