The SGS 07337 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit engineered for precision drilling in printed circuit board fabrication and related micro-drilling applications. It features a 1.45 mm (0.0571 inches) cutting diameter with a 130-degree four-facet point geometry that reduces thrust and improves hole entry accuracy. The shank diameter is 0.125 inches (3.18 mm), and the overall length is 1.5 inches (38.10 mm). The uncoated solid carbide construction delivers the rigidity and edge retention required when drilling through dense laminates, polymers, and non-ferrous metals. This bit is handled by machinists and PCB production technicians working on CNC drilling equipment or precision drill presses.
The SGS 07337 is suited for drilling circuit board materials as well as a broad range of engineering materials including aluminum, copper alloy, cast iron, plastics, fiber-reinforced polymers, nickel, cobalt alloy, stainless steel, and titanium. Its regular spiral with a 30-degree helix angle supports efficient chip evacuation in shallow-to-medium depth holes. The tapered web configuration adds strength at the core while keeping the point geometry tight. It is appropriate for both production environments and prototype work where hole location and diameter tolerance are critical.
Designed for use with CNC circuit board drilling machines and precision drill presses that accept a 0.125-inch (1/8 inch) shank. Compatible workpiece materials include aluminum, cast iron, cobalt alloy, copper alloy, fiber-reinforced polymers, nickel, plastics, stainless steel, and titanium.
Installation and use of this bit should be performed by qualified machinists or PCB fabrication technicians familiar with micro-drilling operations. Ensure the spindle and collet are free of debris and that runout is minimized before seating the shank, as even small amounts of runout will affect hole quality at this diameter. Power down the machine and lock out the spindle before changing bits. Do not exceed the recommended feed and speed parameters for the workpiece material to avoid bit fracture.
