The SETON 88781 is a set of self-adhesive pipe markers designed to identify propane gas lines in commercial and residential plumbing and mechanical systems. Each sheet contains 4 markers sized to fit pipe diameters ranging from 0.75 inches to 2.375 inches. The markers are constructed from self-adhesive vinyl and apply with a simple peel-and-stick method, requiring no tools or adhesives. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors use these markers to meet pipe identification requirements on job sites and in finished mechanical rooms.
These markers are suited for use on propane gas supply lines in residential homes, light commercial buildings, and industrial facilities. They are commonly applied during new construction, renovation, or system inspection work where code-compliant pipe labeling is required. The size range covers common nominal pipe sizes found in standard propane distribution systems.
Designed as an OEM-style identification marker for propane gas piping systems within the 0.75 inch to 2.375 inch pipe diameter range.
Pipe markers should be applied by a licensed plumber or qualified mechanical contractor in accordance with applicable local codes and ASME A13.1 pipe marking standards. Ensure the pipe surface is clean, dry, and free of grease or debris before applying the marker for proper adhesion. Markers should be placed at regular intervals, at each valve, and on both sides of walls or floors where the pipe passes through, per facility or code requirements. Do not apply markers to surfaces with active leaks or extreme heat that may compromise vinyl adhesion.
