The SERSUAMR ser1/0-1/0-1/0-21000r is a Type SER aluminum service entrance cable rated for 600 volts, supplied on a 1000-foot reel. This cable carries a 1/0 AWG conductor size with solid aluminum stranding and a gray PVC jacket. It is designed for use in service entrance applications where power is brought from the utility meter to the main distribution panel. Licensed electricians install this cable in residential and light commercial settings. The 90 degrees C temperature rating supports ampacity up to 135 amps under that thermal class, with 100 amps at 60 degrees C and 120 amps at 75 degrees C.
This cable is suited for overhead or underground service entrance runs in residential and small commercial construction. The 1000-foot reel format makes it practical for electrical contractors completing multiple service installations or large single-run jobs. The gray PVC jacket provides protection against physical damage and moisture in typical conduit or direct-burial service entrance configurations where local code permits. Electricians working on service upgrades or new construction panel feeds will find the reel format reduces waste on volume jobs.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-supply Type SER service entrance cable for residential and light commercial electrical service installations requiring 1/0 AWG aluminum conductors at 600 volts.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local amendments. Disconnect and lock out all power at the utility service before handling service entrance conductors. Verify conduit fill calculations using the 1168 mil outer diameter before pulling. Do not exceed the ampacity limits for the applicable temperature rating of the termination points.
