The SELLSTROM S38240 is a full-assembly face shield built for demanding industrial and construction environments. It pairs a large high-impact polycarbonate crown and chin guard with a clear acetate window that curves to fit facial contours. The window measures 0.04 inches thick and delivers high optical clarity while guarding against splashes, airborne particles, and debris. A ratchet headgear system with a universal slot adapter allows the shield to mount on most slotted hard hats without additional hardware. This unit is intended for safety professionals, trades workers, and industrial personnel who require reliable head and face protection on the job.
The S38240 suits a wide range of industrial, construction, and general-trade applications where face and neck protection from impact, splash, and debris is required. The wraparound window design provides broad coverage, and the dual-crown polycarbonate construction extends protection across the forehead and chin. The ratchet headgear accommodates a range of head sizes, making it suitable for shared tooling environments or multi-user PPE programs. The universal slot adapter integrates directly with slotted hard hats, a common configuration on construction and manufacturing sites.
Designed to integrate with most slotted hard hats via the included universal slot adapter. Replacement parts are available separately and are compatible with this assembly.
Installation is performed by the end user or safety supervisor without special tools. Power down or de-energize any nearby equipment as required by site safety protocols before fitting PPE near electrical hazards. Align the universal slot adapter with the slotted brim of the hard hat and seat it firmly before use. Inspect the window and crown for cracks or crazing before each shift and replace damaged components before returning the unit to service.
