The SELKIRK 4M12 is a double-wall Type B gas vent pipe section measuring 4 inches in diameter and 12 inches in length. It is designed to safely vent combustion gases from gas-fired appliances to the outside atmosphere. The inner wall is constructed from aluminum alloy at 0.012 inches thick, while the outer wall uses G90 galvanized steel at 0.018 inches thick. This double-wall construction maintains proper flue gas temperature and reduces heat transfer to surrounding combustible materials. The 4M12 includes a lock tab non-positional locking system for fast, secure field assembly. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and gas fitters install this component as part of a listed Type B vent system.
