The SECO 75054900 is a cap screw designed for indexable milling toolholders. It secures cutting inserts and arbor components within compatible toolholder assemblies, providing the clamping force needed to hold indexable inserts firmly during milling operations. The screw uses a TP10 Torx Plus drive for positive, low-cam-out engagement during installation and removal. Thread size is 1/4 inch, and overall length is 38.10 millimeters (approximately 1.5 inches). This fastener meets Industry Standard Number 54900 and is intended for use by machinists, tool and die technicians, and CNC setup personnel working with indexable milling tooling systems.
This cap screw is used in indexable milling applications where insert or arbor retention hardware must be replaced or restocked. It is compatible with the 220.79-X012A toolholder style and is designed to work with XO.. 1204 series inserts and arbor hardware. Typical install scenarios include insert changes during production runs, toolholder refurbishment, and preventive replacement of worn or damaged clamping screws in milling setups. This item ships in a package quantity of one screw, with a minimum order quantity of ten units.
Compatible with the 220.79-X012A toolholder style, XO.. 1204 series indexable inserts, and arbor insert hardware. Requires a T10P-3 key driver for installation. Conforms to Industry Standard Number 54900.
Installation is performed by machinists or CNC tooling technicians. Always de-energize and lock out the machine before changing inserts or clamping hardware. Use the specified T10P-3 Torx Plus key driver to seat the screw properly and avoid drive recess damage. Do not substitute a standard Torx driver, as the Torx Plus geometry requires a matched driver for correct engagement.
