The SECO 75051590 is a right-hand MWLN-style indexable boring bar designed for internal turning operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Built from steel with a 1-inch shank diameter and 12-inch overall length, it accepts WNMG 332 trigon-style inserts held by a pin-and-clamp system. The minimum bore diameter is 1.2 inches, making it suited for moderate to deep internal bores. With a negative rake angle of -14 degrees and a lead angle of -5 degrees, this bar delivers controlled chip formation and stable cutting performance during right-hand turning passes.
This boring bar is used in precision turning applications where internal diameter finishing or semi-finishing is required. It is appropriate for both production shop and job shop environments running steel, cast iron, and similar materials at standard cutting parameters. The MWLN toolholder style is a widely recognized standard in indexable turning, and this bar fits tooling setups where a 1-inch shank is the specified holding diameter. The insert inscribed circle of 3/8 inch and a center-to-cutting-edge measurement of 0.640 inches define the cutting geometry for this bar.
Compatible with WNMG 332 trigon-style inserts (insert size code 33, compatible insert size 187R). Designed for right-hand turning applications requiring a 1-inch shank diameter holder in MWLN-style tooling setups.
This boring bar is installed and serviced by qualified machinists or tooling technicians. Before changing inserts or adjusting the bar, ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state. Secure the 1-inch shank in a properly sized boring bar holder or turret station and verify tool overhang does not exceed recommended limits for the workpiece setup. Follow the machine tool manufacturer and insert supplier guidelines for speed, feed, and depth-of-cut parameters appropriate to the workpiece material.
