The SECO 74069375 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying the ANSI/ISO designation APKX160416R-ME12. It is a right-hand, single-sided parallelogram-style insert in the APKX-16 series, coated with TiAlN and TiN via a PVD process in manufacturer grade F40M. The ME12 chip breaker geometry features a positive 24-degree rake angle and honed cutting edge style, producing clean chip control across a wide range of workpiece materials. With a maximum depth of cut of 0.6220 inches and a cutting edge effective length of 0.6598 inches, this insert is suited for productive milling passes in demanding applications. Two cutting edges are available per insert. Fine-grain carbide substrate supports edge integrity at elevated cutting speeds.
