The SECO 74068365 is a ball nose replaceable milling tip designed for use in the Minimaster MM16 modular milling system. Manufactured from solid carbide with a PVD-applied TiAlN and TiN coating, this tip delivers controlled cutting performance in a compact, indexable format. The tip features a 0.630-inch cutting diameter, a 90-degree lead angle, and a 0.315-inch corner radius. With two flutes and an M07 chipbreaker geometry, it is suited for finishing and semi-finishing operations on a range of workpiece materials. Licensed machinists and CNC tool technicians are the primary installers and users of this tip style.

This milling tip is intended for use in steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metal, and hard material applications, covering ISO material groups P, M, N, and H. Recommended material grades include P20, P30, M10, M20, and H10. The tip mounts into compatible MM16-series Minimaster holders for use in machining centers and CNC milling machines. Its right-hand cut orientation and 0-degree helix angle make it well suited for profiling and contouring operations where consistent depth of cut control is required. Coolant-through capability is not supported on this tip.

Installation Notes

This replaceable milling tip is installed and changed by qualified CNC machinists or tooling technicians. Before changing the tip, the machine spindle must be fully stopped and the tool assembly removed from the spindle or secured safely. Use the appropriate torx or clamping key specified for MM16-series Minimaster holders to seat and torque the tip correctly. Avoid using damaged or worn holders, as improper seating will affect runout and cutting performance.
